The Saudi Quality Council has also witnessed the contribution and participation in supporting the great efforts carried out by the Saudi Authority and specifications, standards, and quality in holding national quality conferences, which was sponsored generously by the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. At the regional level, the council’s role was evident in the coordination and organization of the Gulf Quality conferences, which played a key role in the development of its first building block by organizing the first Gulf Quality Forum in the government sector in Jeddah in June 2004, under the generous auspices of the then Emir of Mecca, His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Majid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
At the global level, the 5th International Conference of the Middle East Quality Association (MEQA) in Jeddah in February 2013, under the auspices of his Excellency the Minister of Commerce, represented one of the brightest stations in the process of quality in the Middle East region and the Council succeeded in attracting international quality pioneers and scientists in a major scientific forum that the Saudi Council for Quality was proud of the distinguished participation in the working papers participated by the members of the Council and they were truly stars honored by the land of the Two Holy Mosques with its outstanding gift.
